Default What is this Journey to the North?

Please, please tell methat this isnt perminent, EOTN is meant to be level 20 only, not a level 20 as well as level 10-19 region, who aren't level 20 but are treated as level 20s and have level 20 stats and does not make any sense and gets rid of the idea of having levels in the first place. So pleae tell me this is only a trial thing.

Why do you assume it's permanent from that thread? Isn't it this weekend only? The special promotion?

"Plus in the latest update we perminantly lowered the level requirement for Eye of the North from 20 to 10"

Perminant.

Ahhh... thank you HoS. I see... permanent indeed. Good to know. I think that might work out really well. Time will tell anyway.

By allowing those in the 10-19 range to access GWEN, ANet vastly broadens the possible market of potential gamers. It also means that those that bought the platinum edition won't have to do the entire Prophecies campaign if they don't want to.

Admittedly, this is a double edged sword as GWEN's harder contact may deter people who are not prepared, and even though they added cheaper armor crafters and a free weapon, a level 10 that's new to the game would have neither the resources nor the knowhow to make use of them.

Well that is true.....it is not so bad that they have allowen 10s-19s in EOTN but i still don't with this Journey to the North thing...... it gets rid of the point of leveling and gets rid of powerlevelers(but I think Anet are not to keen on them)
